HAPPY 4the of july!!!

we love the name game and we think why did you human choose EL'BOW and HAUWII omd!
so we will tell ...

EL'BOW

why el'bow? sanne will tell
We had to choose a name with a E (its a belguim law that dogs with a pedigree must begin with the letter in that year)
We were think think fur a funky and original name the name that came was :
Elvis, Elliot (that was our favo name until we choose el'bow), Ewok, Eskimo, Ellias, Eal, Edward

Until that moment we are a crazy family so we have lots of crazy moment . we were riding to look at the puppys again and i sleep out the car and felt (i dont know how!) and landed on my el'bow and i had a big booboo. so i sad would it be funny if we call him El'bow?
and El'bow was the name!
And we arent sorry about that crazy name it just perfect fur him!
or Dancing Elvis the mastiff would be funny to hahaha :-)

HAUWII

Why hauwii?

Hauwii was my first dog that i buy so i can choose anything i like fur name but it had to start with a H.
oh that was a challenge i like
Hippy, Happy, Hippo, Howard, Henrie, Hercules
and it coudent end we the same sound as el'bow
Then i was thinking about my teen years. i was a very very big fan of the backstreetboys :D hahaha
and ther is a Howie in the group that was cool!

as you know we what it a bit special so
you speek it like howie but you right HAUWII
haha the owner of the munsterlanderkennel  always says HAWAII haha

DONT FUR GET TO ENTER EL'BOW B-DAY CONTEST :-)
we have so far 2 cards :-) yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah  your all AWSOME

  19. We like yer stories. We're glad they don't have that naming rule here beclaws me and Meja would not be us. Since we were born in the same year/same litter I guess we'd be Meja and Mobo or Bobo and Beja.

    Not the same...

    Bobo and Meja

  20. We want you to know. Our Moma loves reading your blog 'cause it reminds her of the "good old days" when she lived in Antwerpen so many many years ago. (She lived on ... okay ... bear with us ... d'Roost d'Alkemadelan. Then on Koningen Elisabethlei. Then on Lappersbrug. How's that for an attempt at memory and spelling?) Anyhow, just tonight the family was remembering two things. The ice cream truck that used to drive by and serve coffee ice cream with yummy Belgian chocolate sauce. And the extra yummy bread from the bakery just down the street. You are sooooo lucky to live in such a cool place. We love reading about your days and adventures.

Oh! The little poodle born there was Tia. T was the letter. If you the math, and go back many generations ... you'll figure out when she was born! Ha! Can you count back that far?

    Keep your stories coming,
    Jake and Fergi (and Moma)

  21. Yes, very original name stories!! I always wondered, El'bow, if your name had the same meaning as it did in english! :-) But tell me - why do you put an apostrophe in the middle of it? Why not just "Elbow"? That is why I thought it must have a different meaning in Dutch!
